Christina was born in Newark and lived in Bloomfield for 26 years before moving to Clifton one year ago. She was a graduate of Artistic Academy of Hair Design in Morris Plains.
More than $8,000 had been raised as of Saturday on a GoFundMe in Christina's memory.
She is survived by her beloved parents Dr. Donald and Maria (nee Scasso) Castellaro; her devoted siblings Bianca Castellaro and Vito Castellaro; and her many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and her loving pet Tula.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to Gofundme.com. Search – Castellaro. Donations to the family will be also be accepted at the Funeral Home.
Visitation will be Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley.
The funeral will be at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley on March 12 at 8 a.m.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Bloomfield at 9 a.m.
Committal prayers will be held at East Ridgelawn Cemetery in Clifton at 10:30 a.m.
